Váli’s big brother Víðarr debuts at AXPONA

Alright peeps, something new:

Schiit Audio are releasing a new stereo amplifier to sit beside their storied and venerable family of products, the Vidar (Víðarr).

Currently being demoed at AXPONA 2017 in near complete prototype mode, this new A/B amp, with a linear power supply, can output “…100W x 2 into 8 ohms stereo, 200W x 2 into 4 ohms stereo, and 400W mono into 8 ohms”.

The amp is paired with another new outing, a refreshed Salk Song3-A 3-way ported speaker, having mid-range driver upgrades over the original Song3, a “…RAAL 64-10 ribbon driver…”, and finally a Satori 7.5 bass woofer. A Salk Steamplayer was also on display (alongside Schiit’s Yggdrasil DAC).

So, yeah, EXCITE!
